Today we went on a minibeast hunt in our school grounds! We took magnifying glasses with us and we each had a tally chart. We worked in small groups and worked carefully to count how many of each minibeast we could find! When we got back to class we looked at our tally charts and we found that the most popular minibeasts were ants and the least popular minibeasts were caterpillars and beetles! Then the children worked hard to put the results of their tally chart into a bar chart! What great learning!
