Cardiff visit Legoland

Cardiff visit Legoland

As our exit point for our research project 'Toys', the children went to the Legoland Discovery Centre in Manchester today and they had a fantastic time! They helped to make some pieces of lego in the Lego factory and even got a piece to take home. Then they went on lots of rides, made lots of lego models in the play areas, saw Lego buildings and took part in a race car workshop. The children all made their own Lego car and we talked about how to design it best to make it go faster. Then the children and teachers raced their cars and Harvey and Miss Harrison won. Then they raced against each other and Harvey's car was the fastest. Well done Harvey, you had a great design! Later on the children went in the 4D cinema and the children loved that they were sprayed with water and snow!

The children all had a fantastic time and it was a brilliant way to end our 'Toys' project. We had lots of tired and sleepy children on the way home!

Thank you parents for supporting this educational visit. Check out some photos from our day below, and look out for the learning story we'll be sending home next week.
