This week was spooky week at St Aloysius and what an exciting week it has been! We arrived at school on Monday to find that our Doctors' Surgery had been transformed into a very spooky house full of costumes, spooky stories, and lots of exciting role play activities. We also had spooky books in the book corner, spooky writing activities and two giant pumpkins to carve!
The children had lots of fun carving the pumpkins with Miss McDonald and got very messy scooping the pumpkin seeds out with their hands! We took lots of photographs and we're going to write a set of instructions on how to carve a pumpkin in English.
Then on Tuesday it was the spooky disco and the children wore their spooky outfits to school. We had some very scary costumes! The children were so excited to go to the disco and had a fantastic time dancing and playing lots of games before enjoying some delicious party food.
