This week we've been doing a science investigation! Our question was 'How can we make the toy car go further?' We had a toy car, a ramp, some bricks and straws. First we pushed the car and it didn't go very far. Looking at the materials we had, the children quickly decided we had to make a ramp. We decided we'd use the bricks to change the height of the ramp and we'd use the straws to measure the distance the car went.
First of all we made a prediction of what we thought would happen, then we investigated, changing the height of the ramp and seeing which level made the car go the furthest. The children recorded the results each time and then wrote about what they found out.
Super investigating, Class 3!
