We are learning how mountains are formed and where they are located in the British Isles and on each continent. We will be learning about the formation of volcanoes and the impact and location of earthquakes zones across the planet.
Our RE topics are Energy, Choices and Special Places.
We are continuing to learn and practise the 3x, 4x and 8x tables, adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing using bigger numbers in our Maths lessons. We will begin work on measurement including angles and 2D/3D shape.
In English we have been writing recounts about our experiences of Gangsta Granny and Explorer Day. We are writing a discussion text, expressing views about 'Breaktimes should be longer.' We are also continuing to learn new spellings and practise our cursive handwriting with handwriting pens.
In Science we are learning about Plants, Light and Shadows.
This term the children are working with Everton coaches and are learning to play team games such as Swedish dodge ball and rounder's. Commando Joe will also be teaching the children cricket, rounder's and tennis.
