We are a Year 3 and 4 class who love to learn.
This term our topic is 'Knowing Knowsley.'
In the first half term we will be learning about the geography of Knowsley. We will find out about the different areas and using a range of maps to discover the features of the areas. What are the landmarks? What areas are rural? How many people live in Knowsley?
If you see us ask us these questions and any expert in Madrid will tell you!
Next half term we will focus on the history of Knowsley.
We will discover some of the history of Knowsley Hall, find out about a First World War hero whose grave is a site of national importance and discover how Knowsley has changed over the years.
We cannot wait to visit Knowsley Safari Park, which is the number one visitor attraction in Knowsley! This will help our learning in our topic and our Science topic of classification of animals.
PE lessons are Monday and Wednesday.
Our books are changed on Wednesdays, although we should bring them in every day ready to read with an adult. We should read at home every night for at least 10 minutes and record it in our reading record.
Maths homework is sent home once a week. We all have access to Mymaths.co.uk to complete extra maths learning and games.
Spellings are sent home and tested on a Friday.
