We are a Year 3 and 4 class who love to learn.
We will be swimming for two weeks starting from Monday 8th January at Huyton Leisure and Culture park. Children need a swimming cap and full swimming costumes (girls) and tight fitting swimming trunks (boys). They will not be allowed in the water with loose shorts as these hinder correct swimming technique.
PE lessons are Monday and Wednesday.
Our books are changed on Wednesdays, although we should bring them in every day ready to read with an adult. We should read at home every night for at least 10 minutes and record it in our reading record.
Maths homework is sent home once a week. We all have access to Mymaths.co.uk to complete extra maths learning and games.
Spellings are sent home and tested on a Friday.
This term we are learning about Henry VIII and why he married 6 times. We will be visiting the Walker Art Gallery to see Hans Hobien's portrait of Henry.
We are practicing our throwing and catching skills in benchball in PE with Everton in the Community and Coach Paddy.
In Science we are finding out how to make switches and which materials are conductors or insulators.
