Earthworms invade class 4!
On Tuesday 26th April two earthworms hatched out of their cocoons and were put into the soil provided. The follwing day another eight joined them. At the moment we have got sixteen tiny 2cm long earthworms. The children are enjoying looking through the magnifying glasses to try and observe them in the soil. The soil has to be kept moist and they have some special food which has to be sprinkled onto the soil every other day! Hopefully by the time we leave year 2 in the summer they will have grown and can then be released into the schools grounds!
