Our Autumn term was spent studying 'Dinosaurs.' The children thoroughly enjoyed this topic and learnt all about where the dinosaurs lived, what foods they ate and even about the work of a palaeontologist!
During the first half term we visited Chester Zoo's dinosaur exhibition and had a wonderful day learning all about the different kinds and what time periods they lived in! We even met the dinosaur keeper who told us some very interesting stories!
We really enjoyed the run up to Christmas and helped Miss Mottram to decorate our Christmas tree in class and made some artistic cards for our families. We even wrote letters to Santa and told him how well behaved we have been.
We had a great start to the year and settled really well into key Stage 2. We are looking forward to beginning a new year and an exciting new topic!
